Educational moment! Maria, are you an AIDS patient? Answer: NO ? We are people living with HIV! AIDS means that your immune system has been broken down and a person may be very ill! Many people with #HIV are full of life and living healthy lives. ? Heck, I do more than some of my HIV negative brothers and sisters ? and still have stamina. ? This is because we value our health and we never want to get back to where we were when we got the AIDS diagnosis!! I had it just like I had Cancer!! Now I am just a person living with the condition and that is it! So, when you talk to someone or ask them... keep in mind that we are NOT AIDS patients ❤️ or even HIV patients. We need to put the human part of it first. ? Thank you, Vickie Lynn, for the lessons learned!
