Why Sandra wants to be part of A Girl Like Me: Simply, I think it's extremely important for others to hear from Elite Controller people. We too have impaired immune systems. We are also infected and affected by HIV. According to several research scientists, the way we control the virus just may be the key to how to cure HIV/AIDS. If not a cure, then just maybe a vaccine that will End this horrible disease. In addition, I'm hoping that more Elite Controllers will come forward and participate in the studies that are being done throughout the world.
