WRI 2025 Participants

The following extraordinary individuals will participate in the Women's Research Initiative on HIV/AIDS (WRI) 2025 meeting. More information about this year's meeting will be forthcoming and in the meantime we encourage you to visit WRI Annual Meetings to learn about past meetings.

Deborah Wafer, RN, NP, PA currently works at Gilead Science Inc. in Public Affairs as an Executive Director in US Virology, where she leads the Public Affairs Community Engagement and Advocacy team that focuses on HIV Treatment/Prevention.

Andrea Weddle, MSW, is Executive Director of the HIV Medicine Association, a community of nearly 6,000 physicians, researchers and other healthcare professionals.

For three decades, Loreen Willenberg has advocated for the rights and welfare of people living with HIV and AIDS on local, national, and international levels as a member of numerous advocacy groups, community advisory boards and councils.
