Andrea Weddle, MSW, is Executive Director of the HIV Medicine Association, a community of nearly 6,000 physicians, researchers and other healthcare professionals who work to advance a comprehensive and humane response to the HIV pandemic, informed by science and social justice. She has more than two decades of experience in health care access issues and HIV care delivery, including within the Affordable Care Act, Medicaid and the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program. In her role, she oversees the association's HIV policy and advocacy agenda and programmatic activities and the development of clinical resources.
