I'm constantly educating people. People that should know, don't. They grew up when the HIV epidemic started. So, I share my story because I want to help people. WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT HIV.

I have been visiting Japan and Korea over the past 5 weeks. That is why you haven't heard from me. I would like to share my learning from those two countries.

If you struggle with addiction, depression or mental health, please know how important you are and reach out. I shut down, now I need to relearn self love and self esteem.

If we don't speak up about what we are dealing with regarding treatment side effects (or whatever it is), who will know? Who will listen? Who will care? And how will things ever improve for those who come after us?

Si no hablamos de lo que estamos enfrentando en cuanto a los efectos secundarios del tratamiento (o lo que sea), ¿quién lo sabrá? ¿Quién escuchará? ¿A quién le importará? Y ¿cómo van a mejorar las cosas para las personas que vendrán después de nosotras?

Being an avid traveller, I do have extra exercise and motivation to stay adherent and loyal to my medication. Otherwise, how can I enjoy holidays or work abroad when I am not healthy?

I'm always happy to get the opportunity to attend a meeting or conference, so when I was approached with the opportunity to attend a conference virtually, I was happy to accept, especially one like the International Workshop on HIV and Women.

No tienes que pasar por tener VIH o SIDA solo. Incluso si no los tienes, puedes crear tu propia familia extendida.

You don't have to go through having HIV or AIDS alone. Even if you don't have them, create your own extended family.

It doesn't have to be perfect to be just right. If not art, some hobby or venture that allows you to be in a moment that is not tied to HIV, or responsibility to anyone but yourself.
