I am a 54 year old woman of color who has been living with HIV for about 24 year. I am also a single mom of a 15 year old who is now away at boarding school (this is his first semester away). I have found myseld with a new amount of free time and am realizing quickly that I am in great need of more meaningful social interactions. I feel as though I am quite disconnected with my sisters who will understand me on a level that most people can't even begin to understand. I want to become more involved with my community and share my experiences as well as learn from others. I know I have a lot to learn and a lot to share.
