Hello, Im Genessa. I’ve been HIV + since February 14 of 2022. Let me tell you nobody wants to hear these words. They performed three test and numbers don’t lie. Therefore, here I am. Not hopeless but very hopeful,unashamed, and unapologetic. Through care,education,and A.R.T (antiretroviral treatment),I am living U=U and taking steps daily to become the best version of me possible. I decided to control my HIV not it control me. I want to go 100% open with my status and take on my survivor responsibility to help others who are struggling and have no support. Nobody to hear them. I know all too well how it feels to have every emotion and not be able to express it due to the stigma that surrounds the World of HIV/AIDS.
Together, we can change the course of the HIV epidemic…one woman at a time.
