Michelle Anderson, formerly 2011 Ms. Plus America, is the only known HIV-positive woman to run in mainstream pageantry and win a national pageant title. Since her historic victory, Michelle's inspiring and award-winning story has been shared across television, radio, and news outlets with national appearances on The Steve Harvey Show, CNN's What Matters, and The Michael Baisden Show, just to name a few. She currently resides in Dallas, Texas and is the Policy Associate for The Afiya Center and National Ambassador for the Greater Than AIDS Empowered Campaign and Black AIDS Institute. Michelle continues to use her story to co-power other Black women and girls to address the stigma and reduce their risk of HIV.
