Richard Averitt joined The Well Project in early 2002 to help his sister, Dawn, evolve the vision of The Well Project into a sustainable public service organization. Richard is proud to lend his passion and expertise to his role over the years as chair and co-chair of the board and now as a board member. He previously served the organization in a number of capacities, including chief technology strategist and executive director.
Richard has been creating and managing businesses for 25 years as either a partner or proprietor in various industries. With a background in fine arts, Richard approaches business as his canvas, constantly innovating and creating. He's been at the forefront of digital media and technology since 2003, pioneering solutions for global health initiatives, mobile gaming, digital asset management, and social entrepreneurialism. He is delighted to apply his business knowledge towards helping improve the lives of people around the world.
