It's All in the Knowing!

Everyone is ignoring the fact that HIV has consumed the bodies of so many of our friends, family members, neighbors, co-workers, church members, and even some of our enemies. Now, they want you to think that the dis-ease is just a chronic dis-ease and you can live happily ever after. Yes, so many have lived with HIV for over 25+ years, and yet so many keep ignoring the fact that every 9 ½ minutes someone in the United States is infected with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus. So, what are you waiting for? What are you going to do when it hits someone you love, someone you birthed in this world, someone you eat, laugh, and shop with? Why are you ignoring it?

I watch you every day go through life like you just got it going on, but on the other side of it…you want to forget all that you have done sexually. You remember, those late nights, secret meeting places, and one night stands…come on now! You remember how it use to consume you…just to meet them one more time, besides no one had to know, as you went home to your wife, husband, or significant other. You got the nerve to say to me, I get tested from my doctor – lying. You know you are lying, but if it makes you feel better to just lie and pretend that you are getting tested because you are scared of the possibility of your actions… let me put this right here:

Stop ignoring the fact that HIV is here, and begin to love yourself, forgive yourself, and get tested!
