AIDSWatch 2019

Submitted on Apr 25, 2019

April 25, 2019 – Washington, DC. The Well Project supported four women to attend and advocate at AIDSWatch 2019, the largest annual constituent-based national HIV/AIDS advocacy event. Community advisory board members Maria Mejia and Wanona Thomas and A Girl Like Me bloggers LaWanda Wilkerson and Katie Willingham attended the meeting on behalf of The Well Project, learning invaluable advocacy skills and working to inform their legislators about issues of importance to women living with HIV. Each of them published blogs on their experiences and we urge you to check them out!
