via Lurie Children's Hospital
The team at the Potocsnak Family Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Lurie Children's Hospital is working on a project called HerPrEP which is designed to increase use of Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) among Black cisgender women in 6 counties in the United States (Bronx County, NYC, Chatham County, GA, Cook County, IL, Jefferson County, AL, New York County, NYC, and Orleans Parish, LA). As part of the project, we are forming a national community advisory board (CAB). CAB members will participate in approximately one virtual meeting each quarter for 4 years (approximately 15 meetings total) and will receive $250 for each meeting attended (up to $3,750).
If folks are interested in improving HIV prevention for Black women, learning more about sexual and reproductive justice, and having their opinions and experiences put into action, sign up and/or share!
