About ACT NOW: END AIDS
ACT NOW: END AIDS (ANEA) is a national coalition of community-based organizations, health departments, and national organizations committed to ending AIDS as an epidemic in the United States. The coalition hosts learning collaboratives; works to have Ending the Epidemic (EtE) become part of the national discourse with key decision makers; and supports city, state, and county health departments across the country with technical assistance in the writing and implementation of EtE plans and processes. ANEA’s Steering Committee is comprised of leading HIV advocacy organizations including Housing Works, Sister Love, and Treatment Action Group.
About the position
ANEA is hiring for a new, full time, temporary Coalition Coordinator position for twelve months, with a possible extension. The position will be directly supervised by Housing Works’ VP of Community Mobilization and Treatment Action Group’s HIV Project Director and will regularly report activities to the ANEA Steering Committee. The ANEA Coalition Coordinator position is funded through membership contributions and partially through a Positive Action Community Grant from ViiV Pharmaceuticals. The position will be based in the Southern U.S.; Atlanta, GA preferred; candidates based in other southern U.S. cities are eligible to apply. Please note, the position requires willingness to report remotely to supervisors based in New York City.
