IAS – the International AIDS Society – and ASHA Foundation, Bangalore, India, are pleased to invite you to a regional scientific symposium, “HIV science and community in South Asia: Keeping HIV responses effective in pandemics”.

Date: Friday, 18 March, and Saturday, 19 March 2022
Time: 15:00-18:30 IST (GMT+5.5)

Please register for this free symposium before 17 March.

Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email explaining how to connect to the virtual symposium.

Speakers and participants will discuss the following key and pressing topics for the region:

Lessons learned from COVID-19 for the HIV response
Science for action on advanced HIV and co-morbidities
Bringing the focus back to key populations in the HIV response, with a spotlight on people who inject drugs
Innovative prevention and treatment of both HIV and TB
The symposium will benefit clinicians, HIV service providers, researchers, policy makers, activists, and people living with and affected by HIV.
