Speak Up! National Summit for Women Living with HIV - September 17 - 19, 2014

Positive Women's Network - USA

In March 2012, 60 women living with HIV from the South convened to change the response to the HIV epidemic among women. The Southern Summit successfully sparked community organizing efforts, mobilized advocates and created a stronger network of women living with HIV in the U.S. South committed to upholding human rights. Before the end of the Summit, advocates asked us: “When is the next Summit?”

Back by popular demand, Positive Women’s Network – USA (PWN-USA) is thrilled to announce our first-ever national summit! 200 women living with HIV from across the country will gather in Fort Walton Beach, FL, for three days in September 2014. We will build leadership skills, address critical policy, advocacy and research issues relevant to women’s lives, and foster a growing national community among women living with HIV.

SPEAK UP! A National Leadership Summit for Women Living with HIV will bring together 200 advocates from Sept. 17-19, 2014, in Fort Walton Beach, FL. All women living with HIV are invited to join this herstoric gathering.
