National Gay Men HIV/AIDS Awareness Day - September 27, 2016

September 27 is National Gay Men's HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NGMHAAD), a call to action to continue to raise awareness of the impact of HIV on gay and bisexual men. Nearly 1 in 7 gay and bisexual men living with HIV are undiagnosed. Getting tested is an important step towards prevention. In an effort to reduce new HIV infections among gay and bisexual men, CDC is featuring the campaign Start Talking. Stop HIV for this year’s NGMHAAD. The campaign is part of the Act Against AIDS initiative and encourages men to have frank conversations about a range of HIV prevention strategies and sexual health issues.
