Thanks I am so happy that I came along to this site! I was just so desperate! Marie I did read about you. You are so welcoming! I also use to speak and was an advocate. I spoke at mothers March New York City. I spoke at world aids Day in Connecticut and I have spoken at high schools and colleges. I also spoke the year world AIDS day theme was discrimination and stigma. I had a disagreement with the director of our local AIDS project about the "consumers" treatment. That was the end of that. I miss doing it. It empowered me and made me not feel like a statistic. I look forward to one day being an advocate/educator again.
