What Does U=U Mean to You?

Image

U = U.

I recently had a deep dive regarding U=U with a writer from POZ Magazine and what it means to me as a Latina living with HIV.

U=U can have a different meaning for many, especially those of us who live in a state where there are criminalization laws around disclosure or for folks who are resistant to medications.

I think big picture perspective here is that there have been so many advancements in treatment yet there are still disparities out of one's control that don't allow someone to reach an undetectable status.

For more on what I and another individual who was interviewed had to say, check out the article.

Feel free to share your thoughts, perspectives, and what you wish people would take note of when centering U=U as a means of prevention.
