As you may already know, Unexpected debuted on Hulu on World AIDS Day 2023 and features The Well Project’s senior manager of community programs, Ciarra “Ci Ci” Covin, and community advisory board member Masonia Traylor. The reach of Unexpected extends to local film festivals, conference presentations, private screenings, and two Daytime Emmy Award nominations, highlighting the need for HIV community resources for women, particularly Black women, in rural communities of Georgia.
