Just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Ciri. I am glad that this forum exist because there aren't many outlets for women who are HIV positive, especially straight women. I live in the DC area and there aren't many support groups for women like me.
We are glad to have you as well! I've also looked for support groups in my area and been unsuccessful. I've definitely found this website to be my greatest supports!
Hi Ciri, im new to this - diagnosed 8/2/15. i haven't found any groups in my area either :( today im about to take my first pill of Triumeq and ive been sitting here staring at it for almost an hour.... :( nerves

I understand what you are feeling about the medication.
I was once at that same spot some 12yr ago, I have been on ARVs for 12yr now.
So dearest cheers up it not an easy thing do but be encouraged.
