Oh damn! So I was diagnosed in 1988 of this month. I still am mind blown. So this whole month am in a happy place .Not that am not every other day but this month is very special to me. At 18 I was trying to get my life together and then got the shock of my life to get my affairs in order and wait to die. I carried this with me for 27 years not taking care of myself and waiting to die. Then in 2015 my prayers were answered from a new hospital and caring staff. More hurdles came HPV causing cancer, Hyperthyroidism, Pre diabetes, hypertension . All before 50 mind blowing.
So in 2011 I was gifted with the word perseverance, I heard thriving. But this year I need a new word so ladies come with it ! Am feeling very blessed to still be here. Learning and loving myself today throughout all those bumps in the road. I thank you all for this platform God, my mom ,sister and my kids. There my backbone.
