My name is Meta Smith-Davis. I am a black woman living with HIV in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I advocate for my community, but particularly my sisters of color. I believe that when you empower, educate, and enlighten a woman you can change an entire community. The HIV issues in our communities can be dealt with and ended with women. Our voices have power and I feel passionate about letting my sisters know that our collective voices can move the needle to zero with this virus in our community. It is going to take all of us to get into this fight in order for us to make a difference. NO ONE IS COMING FOR US WE MUST SAVE OURSELVES.
