Isabella Ventura (pronouns: she/her/hers) is an adult gerontology nurse practitioner. Isabella has extensive experience working on HIV research, capacity building and community education for over 20 years. Isabella received her Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner training with a minor in HIV at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF).

Originally from Manila, Philippines, Isabella migrated to the U.S. at age 20. As a longtime San Francisco/Bay Area community advocate, Isabella is passionate about addressing health and social inequalities that exist among sexual and gender minorities, particularly with disadvantaged transgender women of color. She is one of the founding members of the annual San Francisco Trans March, Trans Thrive, SFTEAM and Center of Excellence for Trans Health at UCSF.
