I rarely make it to the doctors. I don't recommend it...but there's nothing there for my time wasted. I have an appointment later this week, and the level of input on their part will determine my choice to continue or switch doctors again. Good news though, January labs were " viral load 290". Amazing, No meds! I thought the receptionist said "2900", but after several repeats and confirmations... it was 290. I was initially worried, my CD4 was low at the 300's, but with a viral load at 290, I see no problem. It was in the 2000's a year ago, and has come down. No meds. So, diet...healthy eating...

It's probably a good thing I did not go (to AIDS 2012), I am afraid my restraint is wearing thin. I have stepped up my nutritional intake, with Basil oil, and I plan to also get some Oil of Oregano. They kill bacteria and virus. It can't be said any plainer than that. Why not try it? Turmeric, Curry, Coconut oil, Cardamon....seems to me if the addition of the planet's medicines stimulate the Lymphatic system to purify itself, purge itself, heal itself...well why not use it? So my diet of Onion sandwiches, Garlic Soup, Cabbage dinner, and Curry Cauliflower are holding the virus at bay!!!! A...

I finally have high speed (internet)! I hope to post more now, if there is a need for it. I say that, because, I am not on Meds, and I don't seem to find many like me. I have come to the conclusion...I am an unwanted oddity. I am switching doctors, and hope that the new specialist can carry on a conversation about nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices, or I will probably drop out of care!!!! I am tired of references to the Immune System, when It's the Lymphatic System health that is the issue!!! Every bit of information I have amassed...I have researched on my own. I don't understand how...

It's very important to make better choices for better outcomes! If you're newly diagnosed, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. Unless you have an excellent and progressive doctor, the information most of us get is negligible! Smoke less, eat better, breathing deeper, if you're sedentary ~ move more.....if you are an exercise freak, maybe relax a bit? Be good to yourself. Don't stress out the body! Moderation in alcohol; or rarely, is a good idea. Don't go crazy cleaning or painting; exposing yourself to chemicals, like pesticides and fertilizers, cleaners and strong fumes.....are not a good idea! Eat good...

Although you rarely hear from me, I think of you all every day! My PC is old and it's difficult to use. While so much good work is going on in our behalf, still nothing about NUTRITION! My medical coverage was canceled by the state of Michigan, in February. I wish I could give you an update on my viral load and CD4's, but I do not know them currently. I do know that minor cuts and bug bites are still healing quickly, and I take that as a state of good health. Remember, I am not on MEDS. I could give you a bunch of details of my disgusting city, my young adult son and his arrogance and ignorant...

I hope you will take this survey I designed to bring attention to the need of more dialog and education on food-based nutrition to strengthen the body--both before meds and during! I will share some of the results in a couple months. Thanks! Linda Click to take survey.

On a trip to the local Health Department with my daughter today, I decided to attempt to volunteer (to help educate), AGAIN! I don't know what, or where....but it makes sense to me....to make myself useful! and I keep trying! But it was divulged to me, ahhh, some truth! that because of THE UNION! they will not use a volunteer to do a bit of something that a UNION MEMBER could do! Now, is the UNION MEMBER going to volunteer? Probably not. As a resident of a "union town", I have seen a lot of union corruption...and although they served a good purpose at one time, to me, they have out lived their...

Hello All! As I see our ranks our growing! I just read some of the posts. I, too, fear my Lab work, Maria. We're all together and alone at the same time. You are lucky you have a partner, I miss that in my life...but I am cautious. If it's meant to be..it will happen. I have some links to health info to share. I can't stress it enough. Whether you're on meds or not. Fresh food and healthy choices are critical. Dietary guidelines are not enough to keep us healthy. We need more nutrition and healthier food to keep our bodies strong. Vitamins created in a Laboratory from chemical compounds are...

My quest to become more involved, is slowly moving in a better direction. I have been accepted as a Nutrition Advocate, for a 3 year term. It's not a job...but it's an opportunity....to fight for Food Based Nutrition Information, in regards to our health! My doctor has little input. The fliers and handouts I collect, say nothing of remaining healthier with proper nutrition! Why is it, we must seek out this information alone? If your doctor gives you input and information on the healthiest recommendations for our condition...be sure to thank him/her! Because not all doctors are doing so! So I'd...

Me, I am still job hunting. I can't believe the state of things! So is anyone else stepping up their nutritional learning and eating better? I'd love to know how it's going. I am tired all the time. I think part of it is depression...I am not familiar with being so poor. I was accustomed to buying good food, and fresh fruit...my budget doesn't allow it now. The level and intensity of the fatigue is debilitating. Is anyone else experiencing this? So tired you nap often? It's difficult to snack on Parsley, Kale, and Spinach....but it's what we need. Homemade hummus seems to work well. It has so...
