A Girl Like Me (AGLM), a program of The Well Project, is a blog where women across the gender spectrum can share their experiences and promote understanding of HIV. Millions of women around the globe are living with HIV, yet many feel they are alone in their disease and isolated in their day-to-day experiences. The goals of AGLM are to help normalize HIV; and to create a safe space for women living with HIV from around the world to speak out and share their experiences – with each other, and with those seeking a support community.

SPEAK UP! 2018 was full of learning experiences, humility, sass and love. #PWNSummit #Speakup2018 I was greeted at the airport by Tami Haught and a group of ladies traveling to the same event. This year was #PWNUSA Ten Year’s Fierce...

Where do I start? AIDSWatch, as many know, is a very important conference where us activists gather and advocate for our states. We visit Capitol Hill and fight and demand what we need and plead with congress and senate about...

How I became a Human Inspirational Vessel (HIV+) Hello, my name is LaDawn Tate. I am 36 years old and I would like to share my story about me being positive. I was 30 years of age when I was...

I'm in total support of the U=U message and the science behind it (Undetectable equals Untransmittable). Now we can stay healthier and not transmit HIV thru sex if we have an undetectable viral load. But to truly end this epidemic...
