Forgiveness - day 3

Hopefully yesterday, you took some time to forgive yourself and do something for yourself. Today- focus on forgiving others as well. Once you go through your life without hurt and malice in your heart, you will leave space for love and healing to forgive someone, doesn't mean you have to start hanging out with them and being their BFF, it just means you don't harbor any hard feelings for them anymore, and honestly you don't really care if they do for you. You can only change yourself, not other people or their perception of you. So it's no point in trying to.

Today, I wrote and mailed some letters to people that I have wronged, some of who had wronged me too. I told them that I forgave them of everything that they did-either intentional or accidental, and I hoped that they can find peace in their heart to forgive me as well. I was thinking about writing them out and then ripping them into tiny pieces or burning it, but I thought that they needed to know that the issues were strong enough to still be on my heart, mind and soul. And once I took a stroll in the nice mid day sun to the corner to the mailbox, I put them in, closed the drawer and closed that chapter of my life. As I walked back, I breathed in new air and new life. I took the long way home, smiling becuase I know that even if they choose not to accept it, I did what I needed to do to find peace for myself, and thats all that I can ever hope for.

Tonight, once the moon is high, I will sit with some candles lit and soft music playing and just meditate. EXHALE_ out negativity and INHALE in new life EXHALE out anger and INHALE in happiness
